Rosa have publishing a report from Pro Bono Economics that Rosa commissioned to better understand the challenges facing our sector. The results highlight the tremendous pressure women’s and girls’ organisations are under. A highly competitive funding environment, staffing challenges, rising demand and rising complexity of demand put services, campaigning and advocacy at risk. The results show: 

  • More than 9 in 10 experienced an increase in demand for services in the previous year
  • 52% cite funding sources as their top concern
  • 59% do not have sufficient staff to meet their organisation’s objectives
  • 26% Black and/or minoritised women and girls’ organisations cite rising costs as a top concern
