The West End’s own Women’s Library
West End Women and Girls Centre welcomes all women and girls to come along and enjoy our dedicated Women’s Library, packed with floor to ceiling all female authored books, with something for all ages including mums and babies, young school readers and so many genres for 18+ readers.
We want to inspire more reading and love for books!
One of our avid readers, also our longest serving volunteer, Pat shares her passion for reading “When the kids grew up, I started reading and couldn’t stop. I’ve learnt so much about the world from books”.
The Space
The library is a lovely cosy space for women and girls to come to, pick a book and enjoy the time for themselves, with a log burning fire warming the room in the colder months! We promote Reading buddies for anyone who wants to improve their reading ability and build their confidence, where we can read along together.
The Perfect Venue
We’re excited to also share the Women’s Library is a space available to hire for women’s and girls’ small events and meetings. The space accommodates up to 20 standing and 15 seated, located near the city centre with close by parking and accessible with great public transport links, our library is a great option for your next meeting.
